Youth & Family Services
Youth & Family Services works with youth ages 12-18 and their families through a variety of helpful programs in Hood River County.
Help is tailored to each individual and family and can include counseling, support groups, violence and anger prevention training, life skills groups, parenting classes, connections to helpful resources in the community and Teen Court.
Our Teen Court program allows first-time juvenile offenders to stand before a trained jury composed of a combination of teens who have gone through Teen Court, and teens who volunteer for the court. Local attorneys volunteer to serve as judges. Youth who participate in Teen Court are half as likely to commit a new offense as youth who go through the juvenile justice system.
