Randy Bell
Instructional Aide, Klahre House
written by Jody O’Connor
It is my pleasure to announce that our March employee of the month is Randy Bell. Randy has been a hugely valuable member of our team at the Klahre House for five years. He is well connected with the Gorge community and is always willing and ready to contact businesses and individuals in the community to advocate for our program. For example, he has helped arrange field trips to local organizations, contacted valuable guest speakers and arranged for meeting spaces for Boys Group, recreation and sports, etc. Randy is a hard worker and is able to wear many hats at Klahre House. He drives the youth to and from Klahre House and field trips, does maintenance, teaches life skills classes, and takes youth to AA meetings. Randy regularly supervises bowling, games and lunches. He covers for sick, vacationing and conferencing teachers whenever he is needed, but especially this last month, since it is has been cold and flu season around here!
Randy deeply cares about our youth and they know it. His ability to relate to them in a unique way is incredibly valuable.
I don’t know how we ever got along without him! Really!
