Joanna is hard working, flexible and a team player. She is always willing to rearrange her schedule to meet the demands of work, whether it be for meetings for work to collaborate and prepare for projects or evenings to support a client in crisis. She does an excellent job of advocating for the youth who participate in her various programs and she works diligently to obtain the most necessary support for youth and families in crisis. She goes beyond the call of duty to ensure that the services her clients receive are appropriate and are easy to obtain, even if it means that it is NOT easy for her to set up!
Joanna is caring and warm and so she is able to obtain the youth's trust very easily, a sign of the sincerity we see in her every day. She is innovative and shows great creativity when selecting and implementing activities with her clients. She is empathetic and honors each client by treating them and their families with dignity and respect. Joanna will go out of her way to ensure that her clients are safe and cared for while empowering them to learn the necessary skills to access services and help themselves.
