Janice joined our Families First family at a time of transition and new beginnings. We had just taken on the new endeavor of creating a parent training program for families involved with DHS/Child Welfare—a new arena for us prevention folks. We were in search of an experienced Parent Trainer who showed qualities of insight, motivation, understanding, patience and reliability. In each of these areas, Janice has demonstrated more than we could have ever expected, along with confidence, humor and “Polly Anna” qualities.
Janice displayed immense flexibility as she began her new role with no office, no desk, no phone and no computer. She has continued to perform her duties with flexibility and poise and has perfected her role as the program has slowly developed. She maintains an enormous caseload of very challenging families, and amazes us all with her creativity and energy.
Janice, you are an all-around invaluable member of our team!
